Antalya
Antalya is Türkiye’s holiday capital: more than 300 kilometres of coastline, a city centre built at the foot of the Taurus mountains, and one of the busiest leisure flight networks in the world. It covers every budget, from all-inclusive resorts to boutique stays inside the old walled town. It is also where Agne Tur has been based since 1991.
The city alone fills a holiday: the Roman harbour in Kaleiçi, Hadrian’s Gate, the Antalya Museum, and two beaches with entirely different characters — Konyaaltı with pebbles and a mountain backdrop, Lara with sand and the large resorts.
Antalya also works as a base. Within an hour you can reach the ancient cities of Aspendos and Perge, the Düden and Kurşunlu waterfalls, the rafting runs in Köprülü Canyon and the ski centre at Saklıkent — skiing and swimming on the same April day is a local tradition.

When to go
The swimming season opens in late April and runs to the end of October. July and August are hot and busy; May, June and September give the best balance of weather and price.
Getting there
Antalya Airport (AYT) is 13 km from the centre, with several domestic flights a day from every major Turkish city.
