Marmaris
Marmaris lies in a sheltered bay ringed by pine-covered hills and has one of Türkiye’s largest yacht harbours. The centre is busy; neighbouring İçmeler, a few kilometres away, is markedly quieter.
Marmaris is one of the departure ports for blue-cruise sailing, with day boats to the Datça and Bozburun peninsulas, Cleopatra (Sedir) Island and Turunç bay.
A short ferry crossing to Rhodes makes it easy to combine the region with a Greek-island programme.
